I had an absolutely wonderful stay at a charming cottage that was full of character and history. The room I stayed in had a beautiful 18th century French atmosphere, complete with an elegant canopy bed and period decorations. The cottage was well-appointed, with two fireplaces, a jetted tub, and all the modern amenities one could need, including AC and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The owners provided a generous breakfast basket filled with delicious treats, as well as a stocked fridge with drinks and snacks. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the owners really made me feel at home. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, like occasional patchy wifi and noise from adjoining cottages, I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable stay in Launceston. I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again.

During my recent business trip to Launceston, my director chose Alice's Cottages and Spa Hideaways for our accommodation. One of the standout features of this charming establishment is its proximity to both Penny Royal World and Brisbane Street Mall. Being close to these popular attractions made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Additionally, Alice's Cottages and Spa Hideaways ensured a delightful stay, with their cozy cottages and relaxing spa facilities. The attention to detail and cozy atmosphere exceeded my expectations, making for a truly enjoyable experience.
The only thing that I found could be improved upon during my stay at Alice's Cottages was the size of the towels.

Clean, comfy, affordable, private, great location. Impressed, highly recommend. Ironbark cottage breakfast basket included oats, yoghurt, juice, eggs, bacon, cheese. Plunger coffee, fresh milk. Fantastic communication, seamless stay. Quaint, cosy, full of character. Walk to shops. Open fire, comfortable bed. Simple but nice breakfast.

I absolutely adored the charming and quaint atmosphere of the cottage. The antique furniture and old books created a sense of nostalgia that reminded me of my younger days. The cozy fireplace in the living room was a wonderful touch and provided warmth on chilly evenings. It truly felt like stepping back in time.
If I had to make one small suggestion for improvement, it would be to extend the check-out time for us seniors. As the pace of life slows down, it would have been lovely to have a more relaxed morning without feeling rushed to finish breakfast and clean up before 10 am.

We had a wonderful stay at Alice's Cottages. the cottage was extremely well-appointed and so comfortable. We were impressed by the great selection of breakfast goodies in the fridge, and they even replenished it for our second morning. the service provided by the host was second to none, especially when we had an issue with the key being stuck in the door lock. the locksmith attended and resolved it within an hour. the location was fantastic, with lots of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
We highly recommend Alice's Cottages for a great place to stay. Cons: Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

We got great value for our money with a charming English cabin that had an amazing above ground bathtub and a cozy open fire. The staff made us feel right at home and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
Breakfast delights, but it would have been even better with larger towels.
